Upon collaborating with team members, we identified a wide variety of workplace moods that were triggering procrastination and degrading quality. Moods like “feeling lazy”, “lack of confidence”, self-doubt, and frustration all made it to the list.

To address these issues head-on, we used a workplace mood management model, known as our “L-Map” model. It works by identifying an individual’s workplace mood that frequently gets in the way and provides a roadmap for shifting from an unproductive mood to a more resourceful one.

We personalized the model for each team member and designed a “quick-access 1 pager” that facilitated fast application when needed. This solution was the answer to ensuring strong follow through on decisions. The result was a 15% increase in overall productivity and a 20-45% increase in personal productivity for those that had high levels of challenging moments.
